Starting with a single piece of Baltic birch europly, 44 slits are cut deep enough into the wood to allow it to bend, and wrap around on itself to form this table's distinctive silhouette. These kerfs are filled in with a mixture of walnut sawdust and glue for a beautiful striped effect, while the tapered legs are made of two interlocking pieces of wood that compliment the top section. Finished with a mixture of oil and wax, the end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish. Perfect as an end table, a side table, a nightstand, an accent table—whatever you can dream up!
