Churchill's Martini
Wood Sculpture
Created by
Hilary Pfeifer
This one-of-a-kind bird sculpture was made from various hardwoods and features embedded colored pencil details to denote wings, eyes, and a subtle body patterning. Pencils are embedded on both sides of this sculpture, making it a great piece to view from any angle.
Hilary Pfeifer named this piece "Churchill's Martini" after anecdote about Winston Churchill's martini recipe: "Pour gin in the glass, glance over your shoulder at the vermouth bottle, drink martini."
