Blue Patina Stone Guardian: Medium Plus

This wall piece is made primarily of hand-cast abaca paper that the artist coats with a cement mixture, then encaustic wax—beeswax and dry pigment—for a crackled surface. A cedar wood figure is adorned with a patina and fired copper elements before being attached to the silver-painted panel. Each piece is unique and will vary.
