Prehistoric Bull
Metal Wall Sculpture
Created by
Paul Arsenault
Taken straight from the sketchbook, this bull has been re-imagined in cold-pressed steel. An expressive line drawing in three dimensions, this uncommon metal sculpture adds a sense of lively movement and subtle depth to your wall.
The steel is finished through an oxidation process using a black patina which inhibits rust while allowing the metal to retain its quality and texture. A clear coat is applied for further protection.
Issued in editions of 20 every sculpture is still slightly different due to the unique qualities of each piece of steel and atmospheric conditions during creation and oxidation. This work is hung directly onto the wall through four small drill holes with metal dowels. Very durable work that can be dusted or washed with a damp cloth.
