Twin Springs Geode Platter

Susan Madacsia's work is a confluence of traditional blacksmithing and contemporary aesthetics; they address form, nature, and texture. This geode vessel is made from forged steel worked at temperatures that causes the material to glow bright orange; in this state steel is easily manipulated. Once cooled, the energy spent forming it is permanently captured in form and texture. This eye-catching work is for display only. Display stand not included.
