Topiazure Panel 4

This botanical wall sculpture is bursting with energy, texture, and bright embellishments. Artist Vicki Grant uses refined porcelain and high temperature firings before coloring each panel with hand-rubbed oil pigments embellished with bright glass beads and coated with a transparent, protective clear coat. The work is layered with a spacer panel lifting each black slate base from the wall, while the sculpture itself is raised off the black slate, creating an eye-catching, three-dimensional floating effect.
