Pollinators Tile in Night Sky Matte Glaze

This image is a celebration of three common pollinators: hummingbirds, moths, and bees. This original design was sculpted out of modeling clay. From the original design, a plaster mold is made to capture the image. Slip is poured into the plaster mold. When it dries, it is removed from the mold and fired in a ceramic kiln and re-fired with ceramic glazes.
