Joyful Patterns
Ceramic Wall Sculpture
Created by
Kelly Jean Ohl
Intricate textures and earthy colors combine in this striking sculptural installation. Nine individual "stick" and "pod" elements are hand built from clay, then carved, burnished, and glazed with oxides.
Intriguingly, the individual elements are not attached to one another; rather, each one hangs on its own nail, forming a remarkable composition. The exact patterns will vary, making each installation unique.
