Wheel-thrown stoneware raku pottery vase covered in several layers of green terra sigillata and hand polished. Clear crackle glazed interior and lip. Raku fired with horsehair and iron. The soft sheen comes from the terra sigillata. Signed on the bottom by the artist. This raku piece is for decorative use only. The clay remains porous and is not suitable for holding water. Each piece is unique and will vary.
