Handmade horsehair Raku pottery vessel. Covered in several layers of Terra Sigillata and hand polished. Crackle glazed interior, neck and lip. Raku fired with horsehair and iron. The soft sheen comes from the Terra Sigillata. Signed on the bottom by the artist. The images are representative of the work for sale. Variations occur in form, iron treatment and horsehair pattern. This Raku piece is for decorative use only. The clay remains porous and is not suitable for holding water.
