Handmade Raku Chess Set IV

An individually handcrafted and raku-fired chess set created by Natalya Sevastyanova, replete with rich color and extraordinary detailing. Utilizing Western-style raku, these pieces are removed from the kiln while red hot and placed into a container with combustible materials. Once the materials ignite, the containers are closed; this produces an intense reduction atmosphere which creates unique colors and textures.

Pieces come packaged in a wooden box. This chess set includes 32 pieces, but does not include a board.
