Stepping Forward

Inspired by the artist's own pet—and beloved canines everywhere—this hand-built ceramic dog is taking a step forward as it proudly escorts a lone bird, a metaphor for the inner voice that keeps us going. Artist Cathy Broski applies and then carefully wipes away multiple layers of glaze to give the piece its rich surface. Each is unique; glaze and surface detail will vary.
