Miniature Toad Box

Wheel-thrown box with hand-carved fluting on body and lid and a sculpted horny toad lizard on top. Airbrushed matte glazes are fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. Signed and dated. Currently in stock I have two, each slightly different than the one pictured. Not all toads are alike! These fierce looking little lizards are harmless and quite companionable. Sadly, they have recently been listed as an endangered species. This small box is a sweet reminder to many of a childhood horny toad friend.
