Dunrobin
Ceramic Sculpture
Created by
Ted Sutherland
"Dunrobin" is tall green/turquoise object full of square textures topped by turret shape. The name evolved as it began to remind the artist of the Sutherland Castle in Golspie, Scotland. The piece is constructed of white stoneware with glaze called seafood. The squares suggest the elaborate stonework of a castle, as well as its verticality. It makes a great visual focal point.
