Blackbird Platter

This wheel-thrown porcelain platter is graced by a flock of whimsical birds. Inspired by traditional folk patterns, Falter creates her design by carving through a layer of black slip using the sgraffito technique. Signed on bottom. Each piece is unique and will vary.
