Little Bird Jar

Wheel-thrown stoneware lidded jar with a fossil-like impression of a real botanical specimen, glazed in light cornflower blue with black trim. The geometric pattern in an iron-oxide wash around the shoulder, base and lid is made by pressing one triangle at a time with a churchkey. Hand-sculpted bird knob. Botanical specimens used will vary seasonally. Holds 25 oz. Hand wash.
