Burning Bush
Black & White Photograph
Created by
Matt Anderson
While hiking thru the Waimea Canyon, on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii, Anderson was treated to this incredible site. The light was sweeping across this tree in a catch light sort of ghosting manner. What great light to stumble upon. Just behind the tree was a 1500' shear drop. The sun was at a point in the sky where the shear cliffs behind the tree were in shadow, isolating the plateau area where he stood.
