Dancing Heron in the Marsh lV, Cerulean Blue
Art Glass Sculpture
Created by
Warner Whitfield and Beatriz Kelemen
Influenced by diving and kayaking trips on the rivers and the shallow clear waters of Florida and the Caribbean, this art glass sculpture was also inspired by the artist's years as a dance instructor. The work employs the latticino technique to suggest the feeling of swimming by underwater coral reefs, as well and the rhythms of dance. Rests on a dark wood base.
