Berry Wreath

This kiln-fired glass Berry Wreath is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional wreath. Artist Caryn Brown arranges pieces of sheet glass heated to 1500 degrees and cut into narrow strips when cooled. These glass strips are arranged with frit glass and then topped with dozens of handmade glass berries, after which the piece is again heated in the kiln. Each piece is individually made and measures about 12 "in diameter. Colors include a variety of greens, reds, and corals, and the artist signs each piece. Ready to hang.
