Autumn Entropy is a collection of golden design elements melted into a solid block of glass. The sculpture features latticino canes, vitreous enamel leaf impressions, and gold luster. The rich amber glass has an iridized coating, which creates a metallic pattern on the glass visible in low light or different angles of view. As the glass is melted, the organized detail of the cane flows with gravity, towards a state of entropy (disorder). Because of the effect of heat and gravity, no two sculptures will be the same. Includes a steel base for display.
