Lindsey L. Allen

"I love things that are a bit imperfect. You'll see a lot of that in my collections—organic shapes and stones. I design two specific lines that are meant to be easily mixed together between high-end one-of-a-kind pieces and lower priced pieces and metals."

Intentionally designed unique jewelry made of recycled metals and ethically sourced stones. Granules and texture are the hallmarks of Lindsey's designs. Wearable artwork that is meant to make a statement but that can also be your everyday jewelry.

Her process mostly uses the lost wax casting technique with some light metal fabrications. Creating unusual shapes from wax each item is then cast into either 10k gold, brass, or sterling silver. Lindsey often uses nature's hardest stones, such as diamonds and sapphires, which allows the stones to be cast in place. This alternative to prong or bezel settings is one of the overarching themes in her designs.

Lindsey grew up in her parent's dental laboratory where she was exposed to the casting process early on, making pieces with the guidance of her dad. It was always something that was intriguing. While in her first career as a clothing designer she took a few basic metal smithing and wax carving classes for fun and the rest is history. Learning and creating along the way through trial and error, she's found the right medium to unlock her creativity and works as a full-time jeweler for her eponymous line.
