Lisa Cimino
CHEE-ME-NO Jewelry
"I strive to create unique and affordable jewelry that is full of movement and energy, yet absolutely wearable."
Lisa Cimino of Chee-me-no Jewelry designs pieces that are influenced by the repetitive forms of industry and the organic lines of nature. The lines, textures, and colors in her work are reflective of what her eye instinctually focuses in on. Each piece has a unique surface treatment with alternative sources and uses of color. Her collections are designed and created solely by her.
Cimino's creative techniques consist of lathe turning, hand carving, and hand fabricating. Each sterling silver piece is finished with surface treatments, gold accents, hand-tinted resins, and crushed gemstones.
Cimino studied at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), dabbling in many techniques until she found what clicked. Hard work and persistence have helped her collections evolve to what they are today and what they will become in the future.
