A Life Full of Love

This sculpture is a metaphor for life's journeys and a celebration of love. The dog, boat, and hearts are all hand built from stoneware clay, then fired and painted with colored slip and terra sigillata made by the artist. Layers of color are selectively wiped away from the high points to give this piece a weathered quality.
