Cascade Vase with Opal Blue Interior

Inspired by the beauty of waterfalls, this flattened vessel is created using a combination of glassblowing and cold-working techniques. The artist layers opaque tan, brown, and red frit over a core of translucent blue glass during the blowing process. Spake then carves through the layers to reveal the blue glass beneath. Sandblasted matte finish. Each piece is unique and will vary.
