Ocean Reef Paperweight
Art Glass Paperweight
Created by
Michael Egan
Michael's paperweights evoke a tapestry of living organisms from an ocean reef, maybe from another time and place. He works to abstract the colors and rhythms of aquatic life. The imagery is very up close with minute details being magnified by a clear glass encasement. The technique used is called murrini. These paperweights are full of unique things and places. They can be cleaned using a warm damp cloth. They should be left in sunlight to be truly appreciated. See additional image for an example of expected variation.
